Hearing loss can significantly change an adult’s lifestyle. Sometimes people isolate themselves from others out of frustration or embarrassment. Although hearing loss can be difficult, one doesn’t need to suffer alone. Being a mentee can give you a new perspective on your hearing loss. It can give you the opportunity to interact with someone who truly understands. Our trained mentors can assist you in accessing and learning strategies that can help you cope with your hearing loss.
- Could you benefit from 1-on-1 support to learn how to better manage your hearing loss?
- Are you able to make a 3-month commitment?
- Are you willing to connect once a week?
- Are you open to learning new things and trying new ways?
If you are interested in exploring what it’s like to be a mentee, please contact our Coordinator, Sharron Nixon, at 403-284-6209 or by email firstname.lastname@example.org to set up an appointment.
