Champions Career Centre (Calgary)
Champions Career Centre works with adults with a disability seeking career development or employment support and direction. They help people with a range of disabilities, both visible and invisible, including the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Focusing on ability within disabilities, Champions offers career counselling, Disability Related Employment Supports funding, external referrals, job search, job maintenance, job placement and case management.
Prospect/The Worx (Calgary)
The Worx is a Calgary based program that provides employment search services to Calgarians with all types of disabilities. As well as a fully accessible career center, that includes captioning, translation, and interpretation services, The Worx also offers a variety of one-to-one support services including employability assessments, career counseling, direct job placement, and education and skill training placement.
Symmetry Solutions (Calgary and Edmonton)
Symmetry Solutions provides Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals with employment and career support. With staff that speak both ASL and English, Symmetry Solutions provides an accessible environment for Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals looking for support in their job search.
EmployAbilities mission statement is simple: “To promote and enhance employment and/or learning opportunities for persons with disabilities.” A community based, charitable, non profit organization, EmployAbilities has been assisting individuals in the Edmonton area since 1974.
On Site Placement Services (Edmonton)
On Site Placement (OSP) is a non-profit and charitable organization committed to creating career paths by providing employment and skill development services to persons with ongoing medical conditions or disabilities in the Edmonton area.
